Digital Marketing Executive – SEO

In a Nutshell:

GADITEK is in search of a Digital Marketing Executive (SEO) for supporting team efforts in remaining optimized for search, increasing search visibility, and driving organic traffic and engagement on our digital assets.

This role requires someone with a blend of SEO and SMO to manage optimization of our digital marketing for search. We need someone who has a firm grasp of current marketing tools and SEO strategies, is focused, executes well and is be able to support effort in leading integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

In this role, you’ll support your team with all of our SEO efforts and marketing strategies. Your efforts will have a direct impact on our company’s bottom line. Hence, we need someone who is self-directed, can work proactively, and provide detailed ongoing reporting about what’s working and what’s not.

You will be responsible for leading search engine optimization (SEO) efforts across our marketing and development teams. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with managing and/or implementing SEO strategies and techniques —including content development, on-page optimization, technical SEO changes, keyword research and reporting, and link building.

This role is crucial for supporting our core online marketing strategy for establishing and scaling our presence in existing and emerging spaces on search. Done right, it will accelerate growth of our brands, aid them reach the right audiences, and increase customer lifetime value for us.

Hence, in this role we require someone who has a passion for continuous learning, uncovering gaps and testing new ideas, and keeping abreast of the dynamic landscape of online search. We need someone who is focused, capable of taking initiative, and has ability to quickly prioritize, remain organized, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results.

Once you are here, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of internal websites and improve their search engine optimization by using techniques including but not limited to: Keyword Research, Copy Optimization, Article Marketing, site structure, URL re‐writes, social media and link building.
  • Improve rankings for the assigned website and deliver reports on a monthly basis.
  • Help SEO Team Lead complete SEO Audit and Competitor Analysis and identify areas for improvement.
  • Suggest changes necessary to the site and implement SEO plan
  • Work with team of search engine marketers to achieve SERP and Relevant Traffic targets.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase traffic through online search methods.
  • Stay up to date on the latest industry developments.
  • Support key initiatives in SEO strategy, including onsite optimizations, outreach and content strategy.
  • Work with other teams and departments to ensure cross-functional SEO needs are taken into account.
  • Research and keep abreast of competitor marketing efforts and share ideas for generating highly-creative content that gets noticed in local markets.
  • Write content and briefs for onsite and backlink SEO efforts as needed.
  • Create and present written recommendations for search performance improvements
  • Implement a backlink strategy.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day execution of organic search engine campaigns including keyword research, competitive research, content optimization, and site architecture improvements.
  • Keep abreast of the latest SEO developments and news.
  • Research and analyze industry changes/developments in search engine optimization and search discovery across multiple channels and programs including content and social.
  • Acquire authoritative, relevant links
  • Partner with SEO analyst to identify and solve for link opportunities
  • Support execution of our internal linking strategy
  • Constantly track, analyze, and report on overall SEO success with regards to traffic, rankings, backlinks, and profitability.

Relevant Experience:

  • 1-2 Years as SEO or Similar Position
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, etc
  • Quick Learner & Self-starter
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Effective analytical, research and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
