Senior Lead Digital Marketing (SEO)

In a Nutshell:

GADITEK is in search of a Senior Lead Digital Marketing (SEO) for supporting efforts in increasing search visibility, driving organic traffic, and boost reach and engagement for one of our in-house brands.

In this role, you’ll own all of our SEO efforts and support our marketing strategies. Your efforts will have a direct impact on our company’s bottom line. Hence, we need someone who is self-directed, can work proactively, and provide detailed ongoing reporting about what’s working and what’s not.

You will be responsible for leading search engine optimization (SEO) efforts across our marketing and development teams. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in successfully managing and implementing SEO strategies and techniques —including content development, on-page optimization, technical SEO changes, keyword research and reporting, and link building.

This role is crucial for establishing and scaling our presence in existing and emerging spaces on search. Done right, it will accelerate growth of our brands, aid them reach the right audiences, and increase customer lifetime value for us.

This role allows us to delegate responsibility for providing support in, as well as directly, monitoring, administering, and managing our owned digital assets (websites, blogs, communities, etc.) and shared third-party assets (social media profiles and pages, forums, and guest blogging).

Hence, in this role we require someone who has a deep understanding of SEO, the dynamic landscape on online search, is committed to delivering results, shows initiative, has ability to quickly prioritize, remain organized, meet deadlines, and has the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

General:

  • Drive SEO strategy, including onsite optimizations, outreach and content strategy.
  • Develop and manage technical SEO projects. Work with other teams and departments to ensure cross-functional SEO needs are taken into account.
  • Constantly track, analyze, and report on overall SEO success with regards to traffic, rankings, backlinks, and profitability.
  • Provide direction on generating highly-creative on-brand content that gets noticed in local markets.
  • Write content and briefs for onsite and backlink SEO efforts as needed.
  • Create and present written recommendations for search performance improvements
  • Analyze and diagnose technical website issues that impact SEO
  • Communicate technical requirements to both developer and non-technical stakeholders
  • Develop and implement a backlink strategy.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day execution of organic search engine campaigns including keyword research, competitive research, content optimization, outreach strategy, and site architecture improvements.
  • Produce technical audits as needed and execute on-page optimizations.
  • Keep abreast of the latest SEO developments and news.
  • Lead SEO and search-discovery projects through from business case creation, technical requirements generation, kickoff, development, testing, launch, and post-launch analysis
  • Research and analyze industry changes/developments in search engine optimization and search discovery across multiple channels and programs including content and social
  • Work closely with marketing, content, and PR teams to create, launch and promote content
  • Train internal teams to optimize and activate content
  • Collect, aggregate, analyze, and report on the SEO channel

Content Strategy

  • Work independently and with localization to perform advanced international keyword research using diverse data sets
  • Develop and execute content strategy, generating new content based on research, regional and merchandising needs

Link and Authority Building

  • Focus on international link development, acquire authoritative, relevant links
  • Partner with PR and social media to develop programs to acquire diverse quality links
  • Partner with SEO analyst to identify and solve for link opportunities
  • Develop and execute international inbound linking strategy
  • Develop and execute internal linking strategy
